Today:
It'll be cold and for eastern parts of Cornwall rather cloudy with some low cloud and mist or freezing fog patches slow to clear this morning. Further west the cloud will be more broken with sunny spells. Along the north coast and to the far west there is also the risk of a few scattered wintry showers during the day. Icy for many places at first with light or moderate northeasterly winds turning to the northwest. Maximum temperature 4C(39F).
Tonight:
Continuing to be quite cloudy in the east and parts of north Cornwall with some low cloud and fog patches. Elsewhere it will be clearer with a few wintry showers affecting west Cornwall and Scilly. It will be very cold with a widespread frost with winds mainly variable and light, but moderate from the northeast close to the north coast. Minimum temperature -5C(23F).
Wednesday:
A very cold day with parts of north Cornwall continuing to be cloudy. Elsewhere, it will be brighter with sunny spells reaching all parts by afternoon. There remains the risk of a few isolated wintry showers affecting the far west and Scilly while light to moderate winds from the northeast will back to the northwest and become fresh at times. Maximum temperature 2C(36F) but 5C(41F) in Scilly.
